Future Photonics´ solution offers continuous 24/7 pipeline monitoring for event detection. These events can pose threats from third parties as well as potential failures in the production and/or transport of fluids. This is possible by taking advantage of already deployed fiber optic cables and transforming them into a chain of small sensor to monitor hundreds of kilometers of pipelines, in real time and with very low latency. Correct monitoring of pipelines prevents economic losses, damage to the environment, social damage and increases production.
